The one thing that can be a frustration with scrapbooking is the costs that can be involved. If you are not careful you will amass way more supplies, papers, ribbons, stickers etc than you can scrap with in a lifetime. lol.
By far one of the most expensive (and hidden) costs associated with scrapbooking can be the adhesive that you use. I prefer to use a refillable adhesive because it is environmentally conscious (less waste) and recently came across some Elmer's CraftBond Permanent Tape
in Wal-mart that works great!Best of all I only paid $2.00 for a pack that contained 2 refills that measure 26 ft each for a total of 52 ft. So that is a pretty good deal. I used to use the Duck Brand Adhesive (280307)
but found it to be rather expensive at about $4.50 per roll and is only added up to about 21 feet. Also, I didn't like throwing them away when I was finished. Related items:
