5 Cool Ways to Recycle Monopoly Game Board Pieces from Pinterest

I have some Monopoly game pieces in my etsy shop and I just knew that some clever crafters had come up with wonderful ways to reuse game pieces. Of course I took to Pinterest to search and of course they had tons of ideas. Here are 5 really cool ones. I plan on updating this list with more later but started with 5 because you can get sucked into Pinterest and be on there all night lol.

This decoupaged jewelry box would be a fabulous gift for a teen. If my niece were younger I would make this for her because she loves money. How fitting!

These coasters would be perfect for a game room.

Great gift tag idea! You could also just punch a hole in the card itself and add some string.

This is my favorite project that I have seen so far. I love the way they made these boards into functional and stylish shelves. This would work for just about any room in your home from an office to a teenagers room. Looks like it would be relatively easy to make as well.

This is a super cute idea and who doesn't need a jewelry box?

File Folder Junk Journal Examples

I came across a post on making junk journals from files a while ago and thought 'how neat'. There are several different ways to make the journals. You can fold them to make pocket pages or use the folders flat and add some signatures.

Below are 3 great variations on the file junk journal.

This first example is simple and requires a couple of folds to a manilla folder and the result is so cute.

The second example decorates the outside of the folder and paints the inside. The result is fantastic. You could also create a signature to sew in the middle if you wanted.

This last example shows a journal that is made with a folder and a few signatures. Simple and easy.

If you like junk journals make sure to check out my etsy shop and see my finished journals as well as collage sets with great bits and pieces to decorate your journals saving you lots of time.

Free Scrapbook Page Sketch

This sketch is a great way to get a lot of photos on one page without the page looking too cluttered. I decided on this layout based on the stickers that I planned to use on the page.

I first started out by laying three 4x6 photos on the page to see how I like it. I decided against this because the stickers didn't look like they were in good proportion with this layout. So I played around with some 3x4 blocks and ended up liking this layout best! :) Here is what the layout looks like on a page that I have in my etsy store.

Valentine's Day 8x8 Page Layouts

I love putting together 8x8 pages. They go together quickly and can help when you are seeming to have a little bit of layout anxiety with a 12x12 page lol.

The idea that I got for these pages was that I wanted them to have the resemblance of photo frames so I put 6x6 coordinating pages in the middle. You can use smaller photos and see a little of the border or you can do two 3x3 photos in the middle and use the other two 3x3 squares as contrasting decoration, etc.

You can purchase these pages and more in my etsy shop :)
