Use Glitter To Spruce Up Your Scrapbooking Page

Looking for ways to use glitter in your scrapbooking? The above example shows how glitter can make your pages pop. Use silver with a black and white theme to create and elegant page or use bright glitter on a child's page to create a playful page. The possibilities are endless.

Furthermore, it is really easy to do with peel and stick letters. Simply peel away and sprinkle with glitter and you're done! For circles you can use glue dots or find peel and stick shapes to adhere to your pages.

I have some new items in my etsy shop that I think you'll like :)

10 Great Last Minute Halloween Costumes for Adults

Okay the kids got their costume weeks ago but what about you? And even those of you without kids have you gotten yours yet? Well by now a lot of the "good" ones are probably gone but you can still make some clever last minute costumes for yourself. Here are a few that I saw around the web that I liked.

This one is really funny, probably a little cold but funny :)

My absolute favorite character when I was younger. Who didn't want to be like the super hot Sandra Dee?

A little gruesome but they will get the point.

Definitely a classy costume and super quick to pull together.

Hey, you'll definitely stand out in this outfit.

There were a lot of versions of this one floating around the web but all you need is a scarf, jean shirt and a wrench. How easy is that?

Molly was the 80s queen so any of her characters will do from Pretty in Pink to The Breakfast Club.

This chick was bad. She's the one from Beverly Hills Cop. An all white trench some white shades a gun and you're done. And if you have the height, that's a bonus.

Okay yeah I know but It's Honey Boo Boo child. Sorry just had to say it lol

From pulp fiction. You can find this style of wig just about anywhere.

Free Page Sketch Using Tags, Wedding Page Example

While going through my old magazines I came across the above sketch in Creating Keepsakes (Sept 2003). They had several examples using the sketch but I especially liked this one. I liked the way the used the bridal dress on the last tag and the ribbon embellishments they used on the tag. Very pretty page.

Check out my etsy shop for pre-made scrapbooking pages, mats, and tags like pretty glittery one above (see it here).

Inexpensive Gift Wrapping Ideas, Repurposed, Recycled

Why spend more money than you have to on gift wrapping? I have this gorgeous ribbon (photo above) for sale in my etsy shop went looking for great ideas for gift wrapping that was also inexpensive. I found great ideas on marthastewart.com. Below are my favorites.

Can you guess what this wrapping paper is made from? Potato chip bags!!! Simply cut the bag along the edge, of course wash thoroughly and there you have a unique and inexpensive gift wrapping option.

This was made from paper gift bags that have been stamped with a cute design.

Love this idea and it's a great way to repurpose old greeting cards. Glue the greeting card to the top of the box lid and use an exacto knife to trim around the edges or you can do like the picture and cut with some decorative scissors and then adhere to box lid.

You can photo copy your favorite pictures and affix to inexpensive paper and instantly make it look way more expensive.
