Valentine's Day 8x8 Page Layouts

I love putting together 8x8 pages. They go together quickly and can help when you are seeming to have a little bit of layout anxiety with a 12x12 page lol. 

The idea that I got for these pages was that I wanted them to have the resemblance of photo frames so I put 6x6 coordinating pages in the middle. You can use smaller photos and see a little of the border or you can do two 3x3 photos in the middle and use the other two 3x3 squares as contrasting decoration, etc.

Baby Girl 12x12 Scrapbook Page Layout

This cute 12x12 baby girl scrapbook layout idea all started with the title. The colors in it were so fun and because I wanted the mats to pop I opted to go with a dark blue background.

I love the paper with the animals on it and didn't want to cut it down so I left it as is in the full 6x6 size and balanced it out with a 4x6 mat on top. 

The othe side has 4x3 mats that helps balance out the layout so that the 6x6 mat doesn't look out of place.

Beach Scrapbook Page Layout

Need some ideas for your beach scrapbook pages? Check out these two that I created for my etsy shop.

I wanted to have lots of room for pictures as you take many pictures at the beach. I then accented the page with coordinating stickers. I love the sand background paper and the blue is going to make any photo pop as it will go well with the beach pictures.

You could also use double matting and put a lighter paper on one of the darker blocks and use it for journaling like I did in the last layout.

         

Great Father's Day Scrapbook Ideas, Layout Examples

Here are a few great examples I found for Father's Day scrapbook page layouts. The day will be here before you know it :). I really need to get on recording things about my father for my future children.

Scrapbooking Sketches Using 6x4 Photos

I love using 6x4 photos in layouts because all you have to do is lay down you pictures. There is no cropping involved and you don't even have to mat the photos so you can put together pages quickly.

In my opinion some of the best sketches that are also easy to implement are by Becky Higgins. She also has a new system called Project Life that makes it even easier to use your 6x4 photos as you just slip them into protective covers, journal using journaling cards and viola you have a great page in no time!

Remember today is not just a day for lovers, so grab your sister, brother, best friends, parents, kids or your dog and give them a big hug and let them know you love them!
