Shortcut to sketches

I was up waay too late last night putting together a layout. At first I was a little stumped. You know how it is. You have your paper, you have your stickers and you are like now what? I have a little trick that I do that helps me when I am stumped on a layout.

I cut out the dimensions that I think I want to use either out of cardboard or last night I used an inexpensive envelope that I had in my stash. This is a shortcut way to doing a sketch and it makes it so much easier to see where you might want to put things. It is kind of like cutting up newspapers in the same size as your pictures and figuring out how you want to put them on the wall that way before you start putting a lot of nail holes in the walls.
