My Favorite Way to Organize Ribbon - Storage Solution

Okay I think I have found my favorite, so far, way of organizing my ribbon. I am a very visual person and hate hunting around for stuff and I will forget what I have if I am not looking at it often. Most of my supplies are in plastic bins or another favorite of mine - clear shoe hangers.

All I did was put the ribbon onto a pants hanger. That is it! I plan on buying a few more of these for all of my ribbon. Next time I will take a moment to take the ribbon off of the spool and loop it over because I hate having to take off the spools. Plus, I will be able to put more ribbon on the hangers as the bars on this particular hanger is rather narrow.

Ideas To Reuse, Recycle Suitcases For Craft Storage

Old, vintage suitcases are beautiful and can be a great idea for craft storage. Especially if you don't have a lot of space as I do in my apartment. I found some awesome faux crocodile? silver suitcases in a discount store and love the fact that I can leave them out in the open. I use them to store my spools of ribbon (of which I have too many lol)

Here are some other cool examples of how you can turn a suitcase into storage:

Use A Pegboard To Organize Your Craft Room & Supplies

I am a little obsessed with organization. Mainly because it is such a struggle for me to keep things neat and organized. I am a visual person and get a bit frustrated when I can't find something so I feel that I need to keep everything that I am working on in my eyesight. The example below is great because it keeps everything visual but also neat.

I have been thinking of using a pegboard for my stickers but didn't think that it would look right in the space that I am currently using as my craft space because it is so open. But I love the idea of framing the pegboard. I have a pretty frame that I am going to do this with. You can also find frames at thrift stores and garage sales really inexpensively.
